What are the system requirements to take a course?

To complete your course we recommend you use the latest version of a Chrome, Safari, Opera or Firefox browser. Do to Adobe Flash requirements our system does not work on the iPad.

 

We are currently working on issues that are occurring with Internet Explorer and recommend you use one of the preferred browsers.

 

To download the latest browser of you’re choice please select from the options below:

 

The following browser specific settings are also required. (All of these settings are default in a standard browser.)

 

  • Enable Cookies
  • Enable Javascript
  • Do not block pop-up windows

What do I do if I don’t get my confirmation email?

Check your junk or spam mail folder. If you still cannot find your confirmation email send us an email at tracie@arbored.com.

 When will I receive my certificate?

Upon the successful completion of each course you will be able to print your certification. Most courses have both a time and test requirement to reach completion. The certification will also be provided to you electrically as an Adobe Acrobat file.

Can I take the course using my iPad or Android tablet?

Our system is not currently supported for iPad or Andriod tablets. We recommend that you take the course using a PC or Mac platform. For further information on browser recommendations etc. please review out system requirements.

How long will it take to complete the course?

These courses are a minimum of two hours including time for quizzes and exams.

How do I disable my popup blocker?

There are many different types of popup blockers for both PC and MAC.  Most are toolbars that sit within your browser.

 

Following are some of the most common popup blockers.

Apple Safari Browser

Apple Safari has a built in Pop-Up Blocker. To disable the Pop-Up Blocker in Safari, select Edit in the toolbar and un-check “Block Pup-Up Windows.” A shortcut is to hold down the Control+Shift key and press the “K” key on your keyboard

 

Opera Browser
From the Tools menu, select the Preferences option. The following window will appear:
Click on the Windows option in the left-hand list in the window.
Select the Open all pop-ups option in the Pop-ups list.
Click the OK button to close the window.

What if I don’t have time to take the full course all at one time?

The course can be taken at your convenience.  Once you log back in to the course, the system will ask you if you would like to continue where you left off.  Once you answer yes, you will resume your course where you left off.

 

Please note that exams must be taken in one sitting and cannot be resumed.
